Aquarium of Boise

A fun 10,000 square foot facility maintaining over 35,000 gallons of saltwater with over 250 species of animals and marine life gives children a look at life underwater. People enjoy seeing the Black Tip Reef Shark, Bay Rays, Stingrays, various other shark species, and of course, their Mappa Pufferfish named “Letterman”. They also have an Amazon Exhibit, a collection of freshwater fish from South America including Cichlids, Plecostomus, Peacock Bass, and Red-Tailed Catfish.
